Business Overview: I support Real Estate Investors and need data on rental properties throughout the U.S. This requires property addresses and rental amounts.
Programming Need: A typical online newspaper listing of rental properties may only include 5-10% of entries that include both the property address and rental amount. I am looking for a program that can parse this text and look for the common strings that make up an address and rental dollar amount. If these fields are identified they would be written to a table (currently ACCESS or Excel) with additional information extracted from the text, such as # of bedrooms, # of bathrooms, etc..
I am looking for a program to be delivered that will work off a variable number of text records, currently stored in Excel. I am not looking for someone to provide only the results, i.e. I need to own the source code for future enhancements and modifications.
I can provide sample files to work from. Web scrapping skills would also be useful for future sites identified.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Should operate in Windoes XP.
I currently use Excel and ACCESS for storing and manipulating data however am open to upgrades and enhancements.
