IRC BOT

An IRC bot that will connect to a mySQL database and grab current song information from my radio station. Needs to take that information at the beginning of each track and display it in my IRC chat room. Also, must be able to accept music requests from chat room visitors and insert them into mySQL database.

BOT must be configurable so that I can change the wording as needed.? For example, when a track called I'll Walk With You by Brett Raymond plays I need the BOT to place in the chat room, "Currently playing I'll Walk With You by Brett Raymond from the album .... which came out in 1998. For more information concerning the album please visit website with URL".? But I need the ability to change this information and wording as needed.? Maybe only display title and artists instead of all the other information.

For requests I would like the BOT to check a mySQL database to see if the person is logged in.? If they are they can enter the following command (or similar) to make a request. /msg DJ_Mike request 1070 where 1070 is the song ID from the database.? The BOT will then place the song with the ID 1070 into the mySQL table for requests.? Also the command /msg DJ_Mike search ***** needs to return search results from the database with the song ID, name of the artist, track name and album name.? This needs to be configurable so I can change the text and what fields get returned.

The BOT needs to have flood protection so that when it returns results from searches it does not get kicked for flooding.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
