Project will require modification of a design of a microcontroller device based on ESP32 chip. It will be a universal IoT/automation programmable platform that is compatible with Arduino SDK and standard libraries. It will have several input/output types and should be fit into a standard DIN rail mountable enclosure.
What we currently have is a Logical diagram (with a different microcontroller) of the circuits for a 3 PCB platform. We also have a BOM. we don't have the PCB layout and we have nothing regarding enclosure design.
The project would involve the following activities:
1) Modification of the current logical diagram. The following points should be changed:
a) microcontroller changed from ATmega2560 to ESP32 (revise all other changes that this could lead to like power supply etc..)
b) removal of some circuitry (specifically the LEDs that are there)
c) Add some extra buttons, change OLED to a bigger one, add antena port for wifi/bluetooth, etc..
2) Creation of the PCB design
3) Creation of two prototype units
4) Design and creation of a DIN mountable enclosure
5) Writing of very simple test programs that would demonstrate correct operation of all of the interfaces/functions
6) Writing full documentation that would allow future modification and manufacturing
The acceptance must be based on confirmed correct operation of the prototype's each function.
