I'm in a high energy 8-piece ska band called Turk...few ideas I have are having a UFO at the top of the screen that has the information you're looking at in its abduction ray and stays there while the information changes as you scroll, little laser guns that fire when you click them, an alien that has a speech bubble that has the latest information that we can update, I just want there to be a little interaction and to not be boring. I don't need crazy amounts of animation, but I think a little would set the site apart. You can listen to our music below for some inspiration. We want a visual on our web page - - that shows the number of trucks we experience each day in our city. We are thinking a counter would serve this purpose. The counter would start each year on 1 January and reset at the end of the year. We average 20,000 trucks per day so the counter would need to go up by 1 about every 4.2 seconds. Attached is a screen grab from our home page. It doesn't really matter where the counter sits on the page, we just want it to be prominent so probably nearer the top of the page for example.
