After graduate as a Chemical Engineer form the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Monterrey Tech) in December 2000, Rodolfo Garza started working for a Sodium Carbonate plant in Vitro SA de CV, he worked as a process engineer doing basic engineering for all the unit operations, such as dryers, mills, distillation columns, filtration, pumps etc. involved in the fabrication of the soda ash; Rodolfo was also the responsible to optimize the process, solve operations problems and evaluate small projects. The main goals achieved were the installation of a steam turbine on two vacuum pumps for an 800hp service, and the optimization of a de-absorption column by adding a pre-heater. Also Rodolfo Garza worked in a salt plant in Vitro SA de CV as a process engineer.
After three years of service in Vitro SA de CV Rodolfo Garza got an offer from a industrial gases manufacturing company called Praxair Mexico SA de CV, for a process engineering position, in there Rodolfo Garza worked from September 2003 until May 2009 with the responsibility of several projects for an air separation plants; the two biggest projects in which Rodolfo participated were, two N-9000 plants for a total cost of 190MM usd and one T-1800 plant for a total cost of 80MM usd. In those projects Rodolfo was been able to have an international work experience by working in the USA, visiting Germany, China, Poland and Switzerland. The responsibilities in those projects were to develop basic engineering, specify equipment, quote, and supervise engineering firms, also to follow the equipment fabrication, quality inspections to sub suppliers, supervision during the construction, commissioning lead and start up of equipments.
In 2009 Rodolfo Garza graduated from a master degree in mechanical engineering at the Univiersidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (state university) and moved to Atlatec SA de CV (Mitsui group) which is a waste water treatment plant developer, in this company Rodolfo Garza worked as a project engineer doing proposals, engineering, construction and operation of this kind of plants, his bigger assignment was the Atotonilco Waste Water Treatmnt Plant, a joint venture between four mayor goupsfor a 870MM usd project in central Mexico.
In 2011 Rodolfo Garza got an offer from a manufacture company based in Monterrey, Mexico called Nutec Bickley to work as a Project Manager. In this company Rodolfo Garza works taking the lead of different projects to design, construct and start up industrial kilns, in 2012 he was promoted as a Detail engineering Manager.
For the following years, Rodolfo Garza, would like to achieve his goals by continue working for a global class company and have a management position in which he can lead a team to reach the company objectives.
