As a freelance writer, editor and public relations specialist, I find the complexities of science and engineering fascinating. I write about topics ranging from construction to supercomputers and the people involved in these businesses. I’ve tackled everything from ad copy to roll-over copy for CDs, including brochures, white papers and complex training materials.
As well as corporate work for hire, my writing includes more than a hundred articles for a wide range of technical, business and trade magazines. Among the publications that I’ve written or ghosted articles for are: Buildernews, Case Manager, California Builder & Engineer, Chiropractic Economics, Communications News, Computer Reseller News (CRN), Connextions, CRMBuyer, Defense Electronics, DM Review, EDN, EE Times, Electronic Products, Kungfu magazine, Lacamas Life, Military and Aerospace Electronics, PCAI, Plastic Surgery Products, Recycling Today, Review of Optometry, Streaming Media World, TechHome Builder, The Self-Insurer, Telecommunications and U.S. Water News.
For five years, I was editor and publisher of the Cognizer Report, a newsletter focusing on commercializing intelligent technologies. I have also been a contributing writer for CRMBuyer and Lacamas Life. I’ve received several awards for my work, including the Award of Distinction from the Society for Technical Communication.
My biography is listed in Who’s Who in the West and Who’s Who in America .For over 10 years, I advised Clark College (Vancouver, Wash.) about its scientific and technical writing curriculum. I’m a past board member of the Institute for Science Engineering and Public Policy in Portland, Ore.
