Sensitive Urban Infill

"Sensitive Urban Infill” Charrette was an attempt to demonstrate how a sustainable growth and change of Surrey, BC might look like in 50 years. A populated city that produces very little greenhouse gas, is complete, affordable, and socially sustainable. (Sensitive Urban Infill Charrette Final Report, City of Surrey) The project was accomplished with the lead of Professor Patrick Condon, Chair of Urban Design program at the University of British Columbia. Neda was a Design Facilitator during the Charrette, and was involved with producing several sketches and visualizations of design concepts. Her illustrations were published in multiple sections of the final report, as well as the City of Surrey Official Community Plan. Link to the project: www.nedaroohnia.com/sensitive-urban-infill
