I was a Finance Manager for a charity foundation. I have completed the Certified Practising Accountant Program (“CPA Australia”) and I have also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. It may not sound aligned with the position of Public Relationship Executive however I believe it gives me the edge to say I can learn fast, effectively and passionately as it really interests me. My accounting, tax, regulatory, legal, analytical and business understanding of issues is strong and my ability to communicate my findings and opinion both verbally and in writing is excellent. Although I have, for the most of my career, worked in the Finance industry, I did a fair share of public relations works at Macau as a Junket Casino Customer service executive where I will tend to English speaking guests while working as an analyst too. In this role, I directly tended to foreign guests (non-Chinese speaking guests) to make sure their stay was above satisfactory. I was even awarded with a special recognition award for excellence in customer service. I love to converse with others and this gave me an edge in customer relations as I can hold down conversations and make anyone feel at ease and comfortable talking to me. I have also dabbled around as a local bar advisor for a few bars in Ipoh which has taught me in first hand on how to handle clients as consultants. When I just returned from Australia, I was given opportunities to critic a few bars around my town and even was consulting them eventually. I consulted them on how to organize their bar so that they can be more efficient, on how to develop their menu and even their bars’ ambiance. The care needed to tend to my clients on consulting them on how to do things better and not to overstep the boundaries of stating their inefficiencies is what I have practiced in this role while also being humble and empathetic to their needs and wants too.
