RFID/Bar code based GPRS enabled mobile attendence system

RFID/bar coded cards will be issued to all the students.

Each vehicle would have RFID/barcode reader

After the bus reaches the school in morning

Phase 1- Data would be downloaded from your device by means of either

memory stick, Hand held serial (232) device, copied manually to local

web based server.

Phase 2 - Data would be transmitted via WLAN to server in school for processing.

Phase 3 - Data would be transmitted via GPRS to server in school for

immediate processing as the child boards the bus at its stop

Phase 4 - Data would be transmitted via GPRS to server in school for

immediate processing as the child boards the bus at its stop with GPS

location co-ordinates. Based on reference data base absent students

list would be immediately displayed.

Phase 5 - Data would be transmitted via GPRS to your web based server

for immediate processing, as the child boards the bus at its stop with

GPS location co-ordinates, based on reference data base absent

students list would be immediately displayed. Parents would be send a

text message about absent child.

When the bus is ready for leaving school premises

Phase 1 - Data would be again downloaded from your device by means of

either memory stick, Hand held serial (232) device, copied manually to

local web based server and missing students list would be immediately

displayed.

Phase 2 - Data would be transmitted via WLAN to web based server in

school for processing, missing students list would be immediately

displayed.

Phase 3 - Data would be transmitted via GPRS to web based server for

immediate processing as the child boards the bus, missing students

list would be immediately displayed.

Phase 4 - Data would be transmitted via GPRS to your web based server

for immediate processing, missing students list would be immediately

displayed, and info would be recieved to server via GPRS as the child

alights the bus at its stop with GPS location co-ordinates.

Each bus data string would carry its unique id so that even if data is

copied manually by means of memory stick, local server would store the

data under relevant vehicle.
