Server Services Infrastructure Analyst (Sun Solaris) required in india

Core Skill: Sun Solaris

Location: Pune / India

Required Skills:

Ø 3+ years experience administrating Solaris on the Sun SPARC hardware platform

Ø 3+ years Experience administrating Entry-Level/Mid-Range Sun SPARC hardware platforms (v240, v490, T5220/T5240, M4000)

Ø Scripting experience in PERL

Ø Ability to troubleshoot in a distributed environment

Ø Ability to participate and contribute to a strong, supportive team environment.

Ø Ability to operate in a multi-platform, multi-operating system, multi-component environment utilizing a large number of server builds and configurations.

Ø Solid analytical skills and the desire to gain further experience in multiple technologies.

Ø Enthusiastic and self-starting attitude

Ø Willingness to travel for training and collaboration

Desired Skills:

Ø Experience working with Solaris Containers

Ø Experience administering Solaris Volume Manager/Disk Suite

Ø Experience doing Solaris Performance Troubleshooting/Tuning using Kstat's or Dtrace

Ø Administering Solaris attached to fiber channel SAN's: MPxIO, IBMsdd

Ø Familiarity with change management in a complex hosting environment.

Ø Excellent verbal and written skill

Ø Project management skills and the demonstrated ability to drive for results.

QUALIFICATION: Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience
