Position

Our potential client needs to coordinate, manage, and update marketing content on a high traffic public facing website. Responsible for consistency with site vision and style guide, while developing understanding of strategies to help keep content fresh and dynamic. Assist in the development, launch and management of enhancements and services to the sites—the company information site, and microsites. The web production specialist is responsible for day-to-day publishing responsibilities and thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight and defined deadlines. Preferably based in San Francisco, Alpharetta, GA will be considered.

Responsibilities

-Create, update, and maintain Web content in content management system (Ektron) as needed.

-Provide HTML, JavaScript, and CSS support.

-Provide digital graphic production art support using Photoshop.

-Provide technical support to business content owners, answer questions from content contributors.

-Experience working on enterprise CMS, Ektron, SharePoint a plus.

-Collaborate with Content/Project Manager and technology teams on updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

-Manage web page content management authoring and publishing projects.

Requirements

-5+ years experience in web site administration

-3+ years’ relevant Web content management and design experience producing interactive content for a high-traffic corporate website, or equivalent agency experience in interactive design, user experience, digital media, or related field.

-Strong technical skills, including the ability to code using strict XHTML standards, knowledge of content management systems, PhotoShop skills, and programming skill in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.

-Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to take direction from more than one manager.

-Excellent technical troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytic skills.

-Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

-Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.

-Flexible and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in an environment of multiple projects, clients, and deadlines.

-Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter; comfortable learning new technologies; heavy, proficient Internet user.

-Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio; experience with web analytics tools.

-Experience with WebTrends, BrightCove, Google Analytics a plus.

-4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
