I'm looking to enhance my WordPress site with a fresh, professional look and improved functionality. I need an expert who can deliver on the following requirements:
- **Theme Customization:** Modify an existing theme to better match our branding and user experience goals. This includes adjusting layouts, colors, and fonts to create a cohesive and visually appealing design.
- **Plugin Installation:** Identify, install, and configure necessary plugins to add new features that will enhance the site's performance and user engagement. Key functionalities we're considering include SEO optimization and social media integration.
-**Website Organization:** Assist in retaining our current structural organization of many sites in one. This requires knowledge in parent-child structures, menus/submenus.
**Ideal Skills and Experience:**
- Proficient in WordPress, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous theme customization and plugin installation projects.
- Strong understanding of web design principles, particularly UX/UI design.
- Experience with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize a WordPress site for search engines.
We serve a unique population of missionaries and sponsor a page/site for each missionary that includes blog posts, photo galleries, additional pages, and links to funding sites. Each site may have unique requirements based on the missionaries' needs/length of time on our website. Some of our content dates back to the 2020's. Feedback on best practices for archive is greatly appreciated.
Applicants should mention their relevant experience directly related to theme customization and plugin installation on WordPress platforms. Highlighting your approach to solving similar challenges and any notable achievements in past projects would make your application stand out.
