Magento - Import Products to v1.6 Clothing Store

We are an I.T company that specializes in building and marketing Magento e-commerce stores for clients.
The job is create and import a new catalog of workwear clothing into one of our clients Magento stores. The import store is a test store that we will make the live store shortly.
We will provide the products on an excel spreadsheet in the format supplied to us by the manufacturer. Your job will be to turn each one of these products into Configurable Products and all the Simple Products that represent the available sizes and colours. You will need to create all attributes that are standard with clothing stores.
There are about 750 products in total (configurable products) all with size and colour options (simple products) We will be able to show you websites that have these products in them to give you an idea of the end result.
As we are very busy we will want to start using the right Freelancer to start doing all our product imports, so if you do well in this job you will get all the rest as we go.
We have an image disk supplied to us by the manufacturer.
