Using .net framework in vb6

I am trying to login to [url removed, login to view] using vb6 and the winsock control. My code use to work but does not work anymore because myspace has now switched there login process to use ssl. I need some type of solution for this. I do not know how to code all that would go into making my program know how to work with ssl. So my solution is some type of work around. I know that you can use .net framework in vb6 to do certain tasks. For example i have a code that downloads a file using the .net framework in vb6. Now what i need is a way to login to myspace using something from the .net framework. Then once i have logged in and got through the ssl. I can then just take the cookies and i can then use them in winsock and just pick up the login connection there. If you need explanation please ask. This project is VERY URGENT and i need a solution as soon as possible. If you have better solutions then mine please do suggest them. Thanks
