I am looking for someone to develop an Outlook Add-In quickly. I need the Add-In to ideally add 2 new buttons to the new email form.
Button 1 will allow the user to adjust the “Sent” date and time of the email (they could adjust the date and time forward or backward)
Button 2 will allow the user to save the email directly to ‘Sent Items’ without sending the email.
I can manually create items in Sent Items without sending them by forcing Outlook offline and then sending the email (it will appear in the Outbox – I can then delete it) But I need the whole process to be much easier for my end user.
I’d like the process to be wrapped up in an Installer (.msi) so all they have to do is download and install.
I don’t want any security pop ups or warnings (so if 3rd party dll’s etc are required these should be included in your bid)
THIS MUST work in Outlook 2013, but should be backward compatible with 2010 and ideally 2007 and 2003 (if this increases costs by a lot then just 2013)
I need the end solution to be as simple as possible, so please fully explain how you’ll achieve this and where the buttons / icons will appear and how the user will use them.
