AS-IS: I have an existing [login to view URL] website which publicises visual art prizes - you know, painting and photography prizes. The database it uses is MS SQL 2017.
There are two tables of interest for this project. I’ve attached their schemas.
1. ARTISTS table - it captures biographical information about artists. Key fields are ARTIST_ID and EXHIBITS. See the Artists_Schema attachment.. See the [login to view URL] file. NOTE: the EXHIBITS field contains HTML markup
2. ARTPRIZES table - has information about ART PRIZES. The fields we are interested in is ID and TITLE. See the schema attachment.
In the ARTISTS table there is one (TEXT) field called EXHIBITS which has heaps of entries about art exhibitions the artist has entered. There are anywhere between 0 and n lines in this field (see attached). In the EXHIBITS field Each line is separated with either <br> or <br />

Create a new table called FINALISTS table - it will have all the columns from ARTISTS with one NEW column which is the foreign key for the ARTPRIZES table.
TASK - CREATE A SQL SCRIPT that does the following:
1.0. Loop through the ARTISTS table one row at a time
1.1 look at the EXHIBITS column in this ROW
1.2 Check each line in this field
1.2. Get the exhibition title in [login to view URL] - the title always appears in the same spot
e.g. [<br>2020 - <b>title</b>, venue, place] and see if the TITLE matches a title in the ARTPRIZES table.
1.3 If you match the <b>TItle</b> from the [login to view URL] field with [login to view URL] match, grab the ID of the ARTPRIZE and pop it in as a Foreign Key as part of the INSERT INTO the new table FINALISTS.
1.4 Check the end of each exhibition line in the EXHIBITS field and see if the string ", finalists exhibition" appears.
1.5 If it DOES have this string at the end of the line, then as part of the INSERT INTO loop
1.6 Put the string "YES" into the FEATURE field
1.7 Put the string "Finalist's Exhibition" into the FEATURE_COMMENT field
