Fire safety and inspection software

My client currently utilizes a software for their business called LifeSafety. They are a firm that inspects, installs, and monitors fire sprinklers and suppression systems, overhead hoods for restaurants, alarm systems, and fire extinguishers. This software doesn't do all of what they need, so we are looking at developing something for them.

We need you to create a piece of software that follows these requirements and can do the follow:

1. SaaS - Be a cloud application that allows login from remote locations and has different user access levels for owners, admins, on-site field techs, etc, along with data backup and replication for protection and data assurance.

2. Clients - Have the ability to create clients that show multiple building locations under each client, including multiple floors in each building and multiple buildings at the same complex. Users of this software must be able to view where and what kind of sprinklers and other equipment are at each location.

Have multiple contact names, type of contact, phone numbers, and email addresses that can be assigned to specific buildings under each client with buttons to easily copy that email address into the users email client.

Each client will have a specific inspection that is unique to them, tied to a report. Field agents must be able to create a new report, fill in the pertinent information for that report and have it saved under that client and building. These reports are the essence of this software. The reports are extensive and vary based on what is present at the clients location, so the correct report must be able to be chosen. There are 3 different types of reports.

Clients must be able to access their own reports without having to consult an employee of this organization. They can be provided a login where they can view and download all of their reports.

3. Scheduling – Certain users must be able to create inspections on specific dates and times for specific teams of field technicians. When an inspection is scheduled for a chosen client, it must be able to be designated as a quarterly or annual inspection and then that inspection is then replicated from the day and time chosen on the calendar for a specific time. So if on 1 Jan 2015 I create a quarterly inspection, the program needs to be able to replicate that exact inspection and all of its details every quarter for as long as the user chooses, ie. Two years, 5 years, indefinitely, one time occurrence. When the user changes one of the occurrences, it needs to prompt the user if they want to change just that date or the remainder of the occurrences in the series. The scheduling side must be able to notify the customer via text or email of the inspection time, date, and location without the user having to manually push emails.

4. Inventory and Job Costing – This application also needs the ability for inventory management so that each piece of equipment on hand, in the field, sold, or otherwise can be tracked and managed. It must be able to assign inventory to specific jobs and track where each item is and has been issued. Integration with QuickBooks Construction 15 is an option if that is possible, but this application must be able to do job costing and estimating, inventory management, reporting, and invoicing on those items.

There will be on-going items and tweaks to this software product so please bid accordingly. You must be willing and able to support this software product for at least 90 days after deployment. Thank you!
