Simple email parsing and forwarding script

Tasks for the script:
1. Read new emails from Gmail every N minutes
2. For each new email, download the files from the hyperlinks in the email content
3. Forward the email with the downloaded files to another email address.
4. Mark read for the email in Gmail
5. Write the status to a log file for future debugging.
Note:
1. In Gmail, the forwarded email should be located in the same email thread.
2. (Updated) Language: Google App Script, Python or PHP.
3. The program shall be running in loop. You should avoid forwarding duplicate emails
