Our business idea is to start a service for yacht owners in Europe (mainly Netherlands).
Yacht owners would be able to take a membership to our service (multiple membership levels possible). These memberships are paid memberships for a monthly fee. The monthly fee is to be collected automatically using direct debit.
Based on the membership level we will have inspectors perform inspections on the yachts with set intervals (intervals change per membership level) against standard checklists (checklist change per membership level).
The members will receive an automated message after the inspection containing the result of the inspection, any pictures taken of the yacht during the inspection and a link to the inspection report and pictures on our website in a member area. This area is only to be accessible per member.
Besides this we would like to be able to sell additional services to members and non-members in a webshop. (The services offered vary from marina to marina. These are mostly non-physical products.
In order to do all this we would require:
- A website that can be accessed and viewed from any device that has the following
- A home page explaining our business concept and a news section that is easily updated
- Standard additional pages, like a contact page etc.
- A page that will show in which marinas we are active and service portfolio per Marina
- A page where people can sign up to become a member
- A page where marina's that are interested in offering services via our site can request information
- A webshop for services, where content of the webshop is determined per marina
- Webshop must be able to take all common payment methods including Ideal
- A membership area where members can login to see, add or change personal information, yacht information, their membership and view inspection reports and pictures.
- Members must be able to temporarily pause the membership
- Automatic payment for memberships
- An area where inspectors can login to create the inspection reports and upload pictures. Preferably this is possible to do from any smartphone so it can be done while doing the inspection.
- An option for us to make changes to the membership levels and change the standard inspection check lists per membership level
- A newsletter page, where we are able to send newsletters based on membership type or marina and possible other variables.
- Automatic invoice generation and emailing for the memberships
- Creation and sending of weekly reports to the inspectors so they know which yachts to inspect - Creation of automatic invoices for the inspectors to us for their (standard) fees.
- The website must support multi-language.
- Ability to work with specific bank or third party provider API to implement payment methods, mostly focused on payment methods for The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium - An option to have inspection reports first send to manager for approval
- The website must be safe and secure for personal information from our customers
- Website preferably created using WordPress
