iOS In-App Purchase Fix and Wordpress API Fix

We have an iOS app the interacts with our wordpress site via a custom build wordpress API. There are 2 issues we need help with fixing.
1) We submitted the ios app to the app store and the reviewers replied with this message:
Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness
We found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs when reviewed on iPhone running iOS 12.1.4 on Wi-Fi.
Specifically, when we tap on the “Upgrade” button we were taken back to the Dashboard view and never prompted to complete our subscription purchase.
Next Steps
When validating receipts on your server, your server needs to be able to handle a production-signed app getting its receipts from Apple’s test environment. The recommended approach is for your production server to always validate receipts against the production App Store first. If validation fails with the error code "Sandbox receipt used in production," you should validate against the test environment instead.
2) The custom wordpress API is used in the app to give access to elearning courses using the wordpress plugin [login to view URL] and the access controlled by the users membership type via the plugin memberpress. Right now the API isn't honoring the view and access setting set in the membership plugin and this needs to be fixed.
