i have an online website rent car project and I want to edit this project to add some tasks
1- display cars in a table according to the renting period.
2- Customer should be able to do a filter search for a specific Car; using car model, year, country and/or price
range. Search result should be displayed in a table
3. Customer can rent a car by invoking the rent button , a renting
form should be generated using the PHP script. The form should have the car
reference number, model, country, description, renting time and date and return
time and date. The customer can ask for something special, such as baby seats,
GPS Navigator, Radio, Driver … (you can add more option), then the form
submitted as in point 4. Only logged on customers are allowed to rent a car,
therefore, if the customer is not logged on to the system. He should be directed to
login page. Upon successful login the customer should be return to the last page
where on.
4. After the customer submits the form the car rent is calculated, if any special needs
have been added. The total amount and summary of the renting and customer
details are returned to the customer for confirmation. The confirmation from also
asks the customer to enter payment details as follow: credit card details (number,
expire date, name and bank issued it). Credit card number should consists of 9
digits the first three digits for the credit card company for instance 111 Visa, 222
MasterCard, 333 American Express. So you should allow the user to choose the
credit card type form a radio buttons. After the customer enters the payment
details the Customer confirm the renting by clicking on the confirm rent button (see
point 5). Also the confirmation form also display the contract terms and conditions,
the customer should sign the contract by entering his/her name and date, to
confirm that he read and agree on them.
5. The confirm button will send the complete form to the server. Then the server
stores the update. the database should replay with customer confirmation
message. The confirmation message should tell the customer that his/her car has
been successfully rented and the order number is sent to him.
