Cs cart admin bug

Hi
i have a problem in admin panel of an cs cart website
so
when i try to edit multiple products it gets to 404 page
it never loads the edit page
when i choose the fields to edit, in ANY product 1 or more and then click on modify selected it oads for 1 minute and then it returns 404 page.
any help would be good
