I want to create a program that does the following

User imports an EXCEL file and system stores data in our Data Base according to a specific field (date)

Then When user imports new updated file system updates the database accordingly

When user enters an other file (same format but for different date) system stores it in database again but separately form previous file. Again in this case when an updated version is entered the system updates the database.

Then we pull some reports of the entered data (mostly counting) and export them to excel

I know it is probably easier to do it on excel but i want to have it online so probably PHP or is the best option but i am open to suggestions
