I need the database in MS Access.
The main purpose of this database is to keep the integrity of stock codes, record cost prices and work out selling prices.
The database must have user based security e.g. Admin level can add, delete records as well as view cost prices and suppliers. User level can only view products with selling prices not cost prices.
I have a couple of xml feeds from my suppliers, they include product details and cost prices. I need a way to automatically download these files and populate the database. The fields in the suppliers xml files are different from mine so I will need you to help me work out a way to map them to my fields.
I need a web page made that links to this database, it should be framed with search fields at the top of the page and results below. I will need to know which products are from which supplier or if they are not from the xml feeds at all. The idea behind the web page is so that I don't need to buy extra copies of MS Access.
The products details/specifications field should be WYSIWYG html.
One of the reasons for making this database is to export the details to my existing xcart website.
I have attached a couple of sample xml files for you to look at. The full version of these needs to be syncronised with the database.
