Upgrade and Enhance an Existing Viral media Sharing Script

I have a PHP MySQL based Viral Media sharing script and I need some work done with it. It lets users register and post media in the form of images, videos etc. The images can be either uploaded from the computer or can be added through a URL. The videos can be added from youtube, vine and other providers. Users like, comment and share media on the site. It also has a user point reputation system where users get points based on media posted, number of likes and comments received. It also has User Profile section with a wall, favorites section and an activity page. An admin section is there for controlling various options. All these features are awesome but I need some more things done with the script, which are as follows

1. We will be having [url removed, login to view] as a reference site, as I want my site to fully replicate it in terms of features and options plus a few modifications/additions of my own.

2. There should be redeem points section in user panel where the users can spend their points for various gifts, offers etc.

3. There should be a notification system on the site, wherein a user can get notifications when his posted media liked,commented or shared etc. User should also have the option to turn off the notification for selected media.

4. The script only supports addition of GIF images through a URl only, I want to include addition of GIF images through direct upload too. Also, the images which are added through a URL retain the same original link, I want the images to be first saved on my server and then linked on the site.

5 A few more modifications both backend and frontend will be required which will be mentioned as the project goes forward.

These are some of the changes that I want to be made with the script, a few minor ones have not been mentioned, like tweaks with placement of stuff and a little changes in the layout.
