I would like to create an instant-messaging platform for a third party website which doesn't have one. This means I need someone who is comfortable with obtaining information from a site by scraping.
The web-based or software-based IM applcation would need to:
-Handle the creation of user accounts
-Allow users to add contacts to their list
-Scrape the website to obtain the online status of contacts
-Allow for premium accounts to use certain features (offline messaging, fonts/colors, profile pic)
This can potentially become an ongoing project.
