DLL usage in Browser

I have a DLL which has 3-4 public functions - these functions are to be accessed on a browser.

I am able to do it in IE - I have written a VB Script - which runs on the client side and am able to access the functions.

I want to achieve this across browsers - so I am assuming I have to use JAvascript.

So, the idea is - that I want to access functions of any DLL using clientside scripting on any browser (namely Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox)

Also, I do not want to manually change the browser setting to access the dll - so want some kind of installer which could do it automatically for me.
