YouTube API Points System, Community Forum

What?

The main idea of this tool is to reward our recruiters/partners/CA for their work using a virtual currency (“Point System”). We want to bring our creators to the challenge of improving, recruiting, and collaborating in exchange for rewards. Once the user has enough virtual points, they will be able to spend them on a inventory full of a variety different products, both virtual and tangible.

How?

We’d like to build a complete platform that works in different environments for specific situations: back-end (for staff: manage the inventory of gift cards/codes, manage users, view stats to prevent cheating, receive notifications when an external order must be made) and front-end. For the front-end, we could use a premade community management system like IPB or similar and create a fully custom addon. However, the best idea would be to create everything from scratch so we can customise everything.

How points are earned :

By recruiting channels. The system will reward more points depending on the number of subscribers the recruited channel is. The system will have to run scripts daily in order to check if the partner 1) has applied and 2) has been accepted (user will only get points if the recruited member joins the network). We’re assuming a link tracking system would be the best path (that will scan to see if the user joined the BP network through us).

By participating actively on the network forums. Users will earn points for posting threads and replies, and for receiving likes. The forum will have to be able to track these stats live, and if it isn’t possible with preset software (e.g. IPB), then it will be necessary to create a custom system. The forum will have to be private, for network members, recruiters, CAs etc only. By reaching certain goals, mainly X number of subscribers, views, or uploads on the user’s channel.

By completing training courses for channel optimization (to be provided).

THAT INCLUDES :

Community Forum, Points Shop, Courses (by reading a text, and fill in the blanks), order tracking system, referred channels tracking (with a total of subscribers from the channel recruited and the amount of channels recruited). Everything is included in a dashboard style interface.

Backend :

View users, delete users, manage user's points balance. Manage orders, modify status of orders. Add training courses (text with questions), add products to the Shop.
