244457 Full Time Developer/Designer

We would like to establish a full time relationship with an experienced web developer by starting out with an average size project (15-25 hours). If we are happy with the quality and timeliness of the work on the first project, we will hire this person for a full time position (40 hours per week).

The full time position will require work on various projects including work on an in-house database using PHP, creating new affiliate sites, improving our current affiliate sites, creating landing pages, etc. Most importantly we are looking for someone who is easy to communicate with and who responds to requests quickly (within 24 hours). Our preferable method of communication is email and IM. We only want experienced developers who are ambitious and want to work and get projects done. We're not interested in someone who disappears for a few days without communicating and then gets around to working when they feel like it. Our budget for a full time developer is $1,600 per month.

Requirements:

Speak and Write English Clearly

Available 40 hours per week if full time

Communication via email and IM (preferably can do some percentage of work between the hours of 9am and 5pm US Central Standard Time when we are working)

Web Design Skills – Competent web designer - able to produce a decent looking site from start to finish.

Proven Experience Required:

PHP

MySQL

CSS

Javascript

Ajax a plus

Able to scrape data a plus

Experience with and modifying Open Source apps a plus

Experience with wordpress a plus

For the first project we have an affiliate site that has been built in PHP (Using Smarty Templates) and MySQL. We want to make some improvements to the site including adding Google's new ad manager program [url removed, login to view] The site also has a data feed of thousands of affiliate products. We would like to make some changes to the feed database and how the products are managed on the backend as well as how they are displayed on the front end. The feeds are in XML and CSV formats.

First project Requirements:

PHP (Smarty Templates a plus but not required)

MySQL
