Linux Network Admin Items

I need someone who can solve a few minor issues on my network:

1. Radio Server

a. Note: Server is a small thin client located next to the stereo receiver. No media files are stored on it

b. Start MPD on boot

c. Configure MPD to stream music from dlna server

d. Configure MPD to stream music from windows boxes on the network

e. Configure MPD to stream internet radio

f. Configure server to control stereo receiver with serial IR blaster ([url removed, login to view])

g. Remote Control

i. I have been trying MPD Control ([url removed, login to view])

ii. Modify app to show internet radio stations

iii. Modify app to control receiver volume via serial IR blaster

iv. Modify app to control receiver on/off via serial IR blaster

v. I also need an iPhone app with the same functions if one exists or modify one

2. Media Server

a. At present I have to shut down the server, rebuild the database, and restart it each time a new file is added

b. Determine why the server periodically shuts itself down

c. I have Samba running on this server and I can connect to a share via my windows 10 box but can not open files. Please provide a tutorial on how to connect or provide a script that I can run
