Developer needed to code Mobdus TCP server on Raspberry Pi4/Ubuntu OS

I am looking for a developer to code a Modbus TCP server for a board that is based on Raspberry Pi 4B and Ubuntu server 20.04 64-bit LTS.

The purpose of this job is to turn this board into a Modbus device that any Modbus TCP client can communicate with it over a TCP network connection to poll data and to set some registers.

For this project, a Modbus register map file is available with detailed register descriptions. Software would need to read csv-formatted data records from 6 named pipes, extract values from different data fields, and map them to the registers. If it helps you in anyway, Linux Modbus library libmodbus can be used as a starting point.

Deliverables include:

- Working Modbus TCP server that any Modbus client can poll data and also can set some values

- Source files with in-code comments
