Vimeo API - remove pause/play onmouseover

This is a simple little project -
I need help using the Vimeo API to disable the the pause/play controls that show up onmouseover.
Ideally I would like to remove the pause play controls all together, but I don't think Vimeo allows this so if you could just make it so they don't appear after the first few seconds regardless of where the mouse is in the video that would be great.
