I am looking for a top class creative designer to give a new layout design / theme for a website that deals with virtual world and educational quizzes mainly targeted at kids (8-12 yrs) in US/UK/India/Singapore. Every element in the site must be interactive, right from navigation buttons to click menus. Every click action must be fun for kids. This is not a game site, but a game based education site. The existing site has been developed in flash and the redesign is also expected to be in flash.
What I am looking for is an outstanding award winning design layout for home page and 5 other key inner pages. See attached brief that outlines what is expected of this work. Access to the existing site will be provided to you to get an idea about existing content and the focus of the current site so that it can help you think through the design to fit that content. We will take care of the actual content migration, form migration, data base connectivity and other aspects relating to successful migration of the existing site to the new design layout.. All you need to focus is on is in creating the new look and feel, site layout, page design, page elements, site navigation and user interface, all done in flash. Our existing site is already done to high standards and the current redesign exercise is intended to make it an award winning entry. The design and overall experience must be stunning and captivating.
Payment will be released in 2 stages: 50% upon completion of homepage and balance upon completion of remaining 5 inner pages. We will be subjecting the designs to a blind test with a focus group of kids and adults and their approval will be basis on which the designs will be accepted. So please be prepared for making revisions as necessary.
