This is an extensive project and we are looking for someone that can continue working with this in the future, as this is that kind of web-project that will continue being extended for years to come.
Flash-programming and animation will be an essential part of a children web. The web will consist of following main areas: Education, divided into subject areas like English, Maths, Science, etc. Games-area with mainly educational games, making these games are offered as a separate project. Animation-area, where you can see nursery rhymes with animations – we have advertised a separate project of making 20 such animations, Shop-area where you can buy the animations and download children [login to view URL] MP3 format, discussion area where children can say what they thing and discuss what they like, a children-blog, and in addition we would like feedback and suggestions from the developers.
The site should be multilingual with text separate, so they would be easy to translate. It will be a membership site, with 14 days free membership, payment through creditcards and Paypal. There should be a parent/child membership where the site automatically sends messages to parents about the child’s activities and results, and where the child is informed about what he has done last time he logged in.
Obviously it is difficult to give an exact quote for this, as the price has to be dependent upon how many educational Flash-programs, but to have a starting point, approximately 100 educational activities can be included. There are many children sites to have a look at, one is [login to view URL], but we want more animations, more animated activities and a more colourful site.
