Write an Excel Function for interpolation - Most likely in VBA

I need a function that does the following:
Input:
x, known_ys, known_xs
For example:
0 | 0
3 | 10
5 | 14
6 | 15
and a point X (4.2)
Y=10+(4.2-3)*[(14-10)/(5-3)]=12.4
Y=y_1+(x-x_1)*[(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)]
y_1=lower band known Y
x_1=lower band known X
y_2=upper band known Y
x_2=upper band known X
x = interpolated point
