Research Dance Music DJs and obtain Contact Info

PROJECT OUTLINE

I am creating a database of the top 1000 DJs in each of the following genres of Electronic Dance Music - House, Trance, Electro, Tech House, Progressive, and Techno

The names can be found at the following:

Each genre should have it's own excel spreadsheet.

I understand some DJ's are listed in multiple genres, but they need to be included in each separate database if that occurs. It is just a matter of copy/pasting. All of the research work has already been done by you.

Here is the information you will need to collect and list on the spreadsheet:

name

**email address for promos to be sent to (PROMOS, NOT DEMOS)

name of management company

managers email address

facebook page

number of facebook fans

soundcloud page

The project can only be done by manually looking at each DJs page yourself and using your skills to research each one. By looking at the DJs myspace, facebook, soundcloud, artist page, website etc you will be able to find the information that you need.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS ABSOLUTE ESSENTIALS

excellent internet research skills

some knowledge of dance music/ music in general

understand how to get information from facebook and myspace etc

dedication to complete the project on time

project must be complete in 30 days from acceptance

Details for top 50 in each genre/catergory to be delivered in 7 days.

Bids should be around 100-250 dollars, quality research is the key point!

**The most crucial information is the email address for promos and the official email address. Some hunting may be required. Sometimes, with the really big names, there is a designated person (the manager, or assistant) who get the promos, and then filters them to the DJ. This is fine.

Creativity may be needed to obtain some info. Refrain from spamming, or pestering people...this is strictly prohibited. You may use any other ways to get emails: from mySpace page, Facebook contacts, DJs websites, pages, etc. Please note that an email address that is connected to a management company or label will not count. We will check to ensure the addresses you send are valid and specific to the artist. If you find a second email, please record this too. If you are able to find contact names along with the email address, please include that as well.

We already have proven, valid information of some of the DJ’s on the various lists. We will cross reference the information you gather with the information we have. We will be able to spot right away and false entries.

To show you are seriously interested - create a spreadsheet for the following DJs, with the information needed, and send it to me by pm. These are just randomly chosen.
