Purpose
The App shall be used for visual representation of workflow with conditional flows and exceptions.
Overview:
A typical workflow usually comprises of one or more sequences of activities to accomplish a goal.
These activities may be further divided into smaller activities or tasks. Also, some activities or tasks are executed based on some conditions. Usually, every process has a clearly defined 'start' and 'end'.
We are planning to build an app to represent the above.
Of course there are several such apps already available since long, but we need this as a part of another bigger app, for prototyping.
Proposed App:
We propose the following functionality:
An app to visually represent the workflow using Nodes, sub-nodes and connectors
A typical workflow comprises of a sequence of Nodes with sub-nodes connected using Bezel connectors
'Nodes' represent Activities
'Subnodes' represent Tasks
A Node can be connected to another node using a 'bezel connector'
A sub-node can be connector to another node or sub-node in another node
'Subnodes' can be of two types – normal and conditional. If conditional, the node should end there and a connector should be automatically created with 2 branches – YES / NO that should lead to another node or sub-node
