Creating an Interactive Site Map for Apartment Communities/Buildings

Hello,

I have a real estate marketing company that approaches multi-family apartment property management companies. This project is specific for apartment groups, hotels, and real estate development projects. I am trying to diversify my 3D rendering services into this type of:

Interactive Site Map

Here are two examples that my competitors offer. It is ideally for a tall skyscraper apartment building.

I am assuming there would be a cost to create the existing code for this and then an ongoing fee for every new building/project that I sell. The entire purpose of the product is to see the available units.

I am still unclear of if it the property management company would have access to the tool we create so they could update which units are available. I guess this is where I could charge ongoing, monthly hosting fees if we do if for them.

Please let me know if I am even reaching out to the first person. I think this could be a huge hit. Also, if you were to create this for me, who actually owns the product? You, me, both of us? I feel like this is something that could be sellable in the future to a major company in the industry. Is this patentable or nothing proprietary?
