Dr. Doha Y. G. AWOHOUEDJI obtained his Ph.D. in May 2014 at the University of Abomey-Calavi. Dr. AWOHOUEDJI works on four levels: (i) nutraceuticals' inventory and evaluation of their use in ruminant production; (ii) growth in weight and dairy production of local and exotic bovine species; (iii) the development of...Dr. Doha Y. G. AWOHOUEDJI obtained his Ph.D. in May 2014 at the University of Abomey-Calavi. Dr. AWOHOUEDJI works on four levels: (i) nutraceuticals' inventory and evaluation of their use in ruminant production; (ii) growth in weight and dairy production of local and exotic bovine species; (iii) the development of non-conventional breeding methods and insect breeding for use in animal nutrition; and (iv) sustainable animal production with the development of mitigation and adaptation methods for livestock production. The scope of his discipline includes biosystems engineering, animal nutrition, and animal science. If his work is documented in research papers, in the case of level three, he has chosen to establish an industrial method for rearing black soldier fly larvae through his research. Thus, after five years of research, he has completely developed a sustainable way to produce more than 40 tons of dried larvae of BSF per month.
