  Let me know what you think about this one. I've reduced the font thickness by nearly 40% (to preserve the camera "frame" and shapes itself, not to feel out of balance), removed the inner circle, enlarged "84" by 20% and updated the business cards to match the new logo.

Ok, I'll probably play a little bit with text and fonts below/beside the logo myself. Capitals might indeed be better but I think the text is a little bit too big / heavy.

  No problem, I'll leave the text editable then and suggest another font to you in the morning if you'd like (the current font used is converted to vector shapes and slightly hand-modified by me for weight and extra roundness on the edges).
  I'll also remove the inner circle and enlarge the 84.
  All elements are separate however, so if you'd like I can give you the .PSD version of this original (should you change your mind) along with the modified ones by your liking.
  
  I'll provide you the updates in the morning then. :) And if you'll be alright with the circle removed and all the revisions, award me the contest and I'll be able to transfer files after signing the transfer agreement.

Also, I would like the inner circle around the 84 to be removed so that the 84 itself can be a bit bigger.

  If you'll apologize me, I'm off for some rest now as I'm working for 11 hours straight and can't keep the focus anymore :) I'll drop by in an hour again though to check up if you need/want to see anything else.
  Regarding the upper/lowercase version, I'd just like to state my own opinion that it's better with capitals in this current design, due to having a bolder impact which slightly makes it easier to remember the name and design in general (that's why I went for capitals and color combination as is, to really give you something that emphasizes the "84"). The choice is yours however - of course :)
  Just wanted to give you a suggestion.

Dear contest holder, this is the V1 I was working on since yesterday. The full concept breakdown (in a nutshell) is under Slide 3. Should the text not be visible enough, kindly hove over the image in gallery view to the top right corner and click on "Full View" which will appear and display the entry in full original resolution.

I've intentionally made the color scheme as is to highlight all the important parts of the brand. I'm really hoping you'll like this one, as the design style seems to work wonders for photographers usually (due to it's high flexibility, which makes it ideal for watermarks while still having a strong brand recognition).

  And just to add - the logo will be provided in .PSD and .AI vector file so no worries with the scaling (the .PSD will be in my standard 5000px 300dpi high res as well).
