The Buffalo Eraser Sponge is a new product which will be placed for sale in a major US retailer (Walmart). We’ve been asked to redesign the packaging to be larger and to soften it to appeal to a female consumer. We will pay the winner $300 and the top 4 runner ups a participation bonus of $25 each. Also, the winner will be allowed to place a promotion link on our product website www.buffaloclean.com. New Box Size 5 1/8" x 1 1/8" x 4 31/32"

We would like to keep as much of the original design as possible but the goal is to increase packaging appeal to a female consumer.

Must Keep:
Buffalo Eraser Sponge Logo
Environmentally Necessary Logo
UPC code and Recycled Paperboard Logo

Changes Required:
“10X The Cleaning Power” to “Engineered to Last Longer”
Replace Made in USA logo to an Assembled in the USA logo
1 ERASER SPONGE to 2 ERASER SPONGES (located in bottom front of package)
Buffalosponge.com to BuffaloClean.com

We must keep the Buffalo Eraser Sponge Logo but the other images and background can be changed. We want the product to appeal to women more but also come across as a tough quality product. Softening may be achieved by changing one or more elements the dark wood to a light wood, changing the parchment coloring, the red text and the pictures. It is not a just female product but rather it needs to be softened to be inclusive of the female market. By resizing the box to the new size and update the colors and pictures I think we can get the effect that we want.
