I have several related projects and am seeking a long term relationship with the right person.

First project: I'm looking for a quality design and layout for a hard copy food and mood journal. It has areas to track daily food, corresponding moods, exercise, and a few other factors. I have attached a working draft.

Design should be pleasant, simple, and elicit warm and fuzzies! I like blue, teal, tan, and green. Target audience is women ages 35-60, so it should be more mature.

Please present a single daily plan journal page, and a background that can be used for the other pages. I like simple color splashes across the background instead of images or distracting graphics. If we're a match for each other, we can work together on the cover separately.

I'll provide public feedback to let everyone know what works and doesn't work for me. Thank you!

Using #23 as a layout, I'd like to get rid of the line under the PLANTS and instead please insert a small check-box under each letter. Underneath 'Targets for Today, please add "Give yourself a check for each target you got" You can change "Activities" to just one line to make room for this.

  #19. But the stuff at the top should be smaller font so it all fits on fewer lines. The Sleep report should only take up 2 lines, not 4.

#21 I really like how the whole thing looks like it could have been hand-written but it still looks clean and professional. I'm not loving the color scheme. I'm not sure the watercolor background is the way to go. I'd love to see something a little different

#16 is the strongest contender. The layout is more what I'm looking for. I'd like to see some more clearly defined sections at the bottom. We can change it to a small section for Activities and a large section for "Things to focus on tomorrow" The Food and Mood title could be smaller to maximize space for writing.

#14 is more what I'm looking for. I like the font, the cover is attractive, not too busy, but not too plain. The inside look is good but we need to work with the layout to get all the content for one day on one page.

#7 and #8 might be suitable for an ebook or webpage, but colors are not compatible for printing.

#6 is getting a little closer. I like the paintbrush splashes of color. I'd like to have a green background behind the PLANTS section toward the bottom, and need lines for the chart of food & mood

@Jormaine, Thank you for showing the interior page. What size is your sample? Would you be able to fit all of the content I gave on a 81/2 x 11" page? I need to keep printing costs manageable.
