I will pay $50 to the person who can come up with what I consider is best solution to my problem. This is a short 3 day competition with sealed entries so no-one can steal your idea and guaranteed so someone will be paid this prize !!!

We have a lot of clients around the UK and currently each has a Windows PC connected to a USB thermal receipt printer. Each PC runs our custom software that checks an email address every 30 seconds and prints a new email if it matches the filter set within the custom software. However there are a number of issues with this current set-up.
1. Every time we update our software, we have to visit every client to update their PC.
2. Hardware failure of PC components could become a major issue.
3. Clients complain PCs take up too much space athough would be happy with just the printer.
4. Clients load adware, bloatware, toolbars and general crap onto their PCs then complain that they run slowly. No matter how many times you tell them not load any other programs onto the computer, they still do it.

Therefore at our client locations, we want to remove the Windows PCs and the USB printers and replace them with just a single device, this being a thermal receipt printer with a network interface that will attach directly (eithered wired or wirelessly) to the client's router. At our office's we would then run a modified version of the custom software which would handle the emails and send print jobs to our client's printers.

Question is how do we go about setting this up so the printers are accessible yet still secure? The printers are not "cloud ready" and there are now no PCs at our client location. Also they are attached to routers with dynamic IP addresses which are subject to change without notice.

Looking for someone to come up with a solution that is cheap and easy to implement. Not looking for 1 sentence answer but also not 20 page essay either. I've attached a couple of pdfs which graphically show the current set-up and our proposed set-up.
