The IMVC (Melbourne, Australia) is creating an intermediate post-school program specifically for secondary school age youth with disability.

Youth2Industry will provide hands-on practical and project-based approaches to learning. Participants involved in the program (17-24yr olds) will develop core knowledge and skill capability to allow them to commence work in their chosen field. They will be provided opportunities to directly connect to industry for potential work placement / future employment.

Students will be supported and educated in a dynamic, supportive and nurturing environment to achieve goals and look towards a brighter future

LOGO BRIEF:
We are looking for an original logo that is education focused, but needs to excite/ engage youth about potential learning and futures employment opportunities. Must be suitable for website/ email representation, and print (letterhead, booklets, flyers etc). Must represent the words Youth2Industry.

Design Personality: Original, Strong, Innovative, Customer- Focused, Engaging, Bright, Happy, Positive.

WHO ARE WE TALKING TO?
• Primarily: Youth (Aged between 16 - 25)
• Parents and teachers
• To the education and learning market in general.

FILE FORMATS:
eps: for professional usage
jpeg: for desktop publishing
gif: for digital usage

COLOUR
Colour and style are open.

FONT:
The consistent use of a font helps reinforce and maintain the IMVC brand. Calibri has been selected as the IMVC’s typeface as it is very easy to read on both paper and computer screen. Sans serif font alternatives for use by professional designers include Gotham HTF and Whitney HTF.

Thanks everyone for your entries - there are some great designs coming through. We really want something that will excite 14 - 18 year old kids. Colour is important, and we also don't want the logo to be too busy / have too much going on.

Overall, our young people are not well represented by scholarly images, our young people are joining our educational program for practical education, to transition into the workforce. This should be more of the focus.
