We are in the process of launching an innovation lab that comes up with ideas and builds technology products for the Direct Selling Industry (see definition below). The industry is all about building relationships between agents and their customers to sell products and/or services. Other terms for what our lab is all about include technology incubator or accelerator or venture studio lab. In summary, we will generate ideas (both internal and external), then build technology products that solve industry wide business problems, then create startups around those products which turn into subsidiary businesses. Our corporate company (holding entity) is now forming and we need a designer long term that can be used for many of our startups/products going forward, but to start initially we need a company logo and business card design for our corporate entity. Our business name is DirecTech Labs (abbreviated as DTL). We would like both DTL and DirecTech Labs to be worked into the design. Shouldn't be more than 2 perhaps 3 colors. In addition to the logo, we need a business card design which includes the logo. The business card design can include graphic and/or text on both sides.

According to Wikipedia - "Direct selling is the marketing and selling of products directly to consumers away from a fixed retail location. Peddling is the oldest form of direct selling.[1] Modern direct selling includes sales made through the party plan, one-on-one demonstrations, and other personal contact arrangements as well as internet sales.[2] A textbook definition is: "The direct personal presentation, demonstration, and sale of products and services to consumers, usually in their homes or at their jobs." Examples of direct selling companies include Avon, Mary Kay, Herbalife, Amway, and Tupperware.

First off, thanks so much for all of the great entries! A couple of clarifications for most of the entries -

1. Directech or DirecTech is 1 word - most are shown with space between as 2 words.
2. Contest is for logo and business cards. Most entries do not have a business card layout and we need to see what the logo looks like on the business card since 3D type entries could look very different.
