     Any artist or arts style really, but I suppose it stems from my involvement with the local theatre community. However, I don't want it to speak only to theatre artists.

  Let's try to keep the logos as minimal as possible, too many warring ideas in the image reduces the effectiveness.

  Lots of nice looking entries, but most stray too far from intention and clarity. The logo should relate to the arts AND technology, with symbolism that at least tries to find itself in the words "deep roots". There are only 2 entries in my estimation that do this so far, and I have marked all others with 1 star.
