I am creator of cworklog.com and I am designing a MAX OS X application and I need a good [could-be animated] icon to put in the dock.

The idea is when the user is running his time log, the dock icon will change to this icon so he knows he is "on-the-clock" It has to be noticeable enough so he doesn't lose task or focus on what he is doing.

When he right clicks the icon, he can choose to stop the time clock (which will switch back to the compguy icon)

Please go to cworklog.com and get an idea of the colors and the compguy.png logo that can be utilized for this.

Remember if you choose something animated, i'll need several icons for each animation screen.

  Can you make his feet up on the desk? I don't know something to indicate he is not currently working....( the zzz idea makes him look dead or something, he needs to be colorful i think)

Are there any designers who can use the same computer desk guy? For example if there was a view looking at him from behind you could see his screen that it was animated and he was working?

  Hey chip chip, it seems you did a good job making it look professional, but here is the use case:
  1. User starts up cworklog app.
  2. Cworklog desk guy appears on launchbar.
  3. User starts work log, which means he is currently "on the clock" or logged in for working, he is making money during that time and doesn't want to be bothered. He needs to know at all times that he is, so the icon could be slightly animated.
  4. When he clicks "stop" the icon changes back to the computer desk guy.
  
  Can you submit some more ideas since yours seem the most professional?

  Well cworklog is a tool to track your time, if you start the time clock, you are considered working and getting paid for it, if you stop your time, you are no longer working. While "working" the icon should be visible enough (red maybe) to show that you are on the clock and have to stay on task.
