Objective: To create a double sided bookmark illustration of the fairy tale Beauty and The Beast purely through Adobe Illustrator. The design must showcase a narrative story of the fairytale, the design must be original and can't look like any previous characters from previous beauty and the beast movies. To design everything in a particular style, Look at the attachment Style 1 & Style 2 choose one style u like to follow for both designs. remember we are only looking at the style not the actual design of these style examples.

Below I've provided a story design to make it easier for you guys, I would like you to follow the story brief below when designing your bookmark. I will provide images for a more accurate interpretation of how I want each design to be done. These images are only inspiration and examples.

Bookmark Dimensions= 210 x 50 mm in cymk colour mode.

(Look at Design 1 & 2 for a better understanding of the visuals I want in the design before reading this part) Front Cover - as shown there's an old lady and handsome king standing in front of his castle door, she is holding a rose. We are adding a twist into this design by having their shadows casted from the light coming inside the castle door. The king's shadow will be a beast and the old lady's shadow is a beautiful young lady. Since it's a bookmark, you must be smart with how everything is layout and presented on a vertical page. The environment around these characters can be done to your liking as long as those main visuals are portrayed.

(Look at Design 3 & 4 before reading this) Back Cover - Having the sunset set in the background, with the silhouette of the castle on a hill. In front of that is the two main characters in the grass-fields. The beast and the beautiful lady, the beast is giving the lady a fire torch. Their shadow is casted by the sunset in which creates a shadow of the beast into a handsome man and the fire torch into a rose. The lady remains the same. I have got a small file that I attached of how I started the layout and rough idea how I want the back cover. You can use this and add what needed from the brief above.
