This is one of the inspiring quotes we heard Mike King share earlier today in our Warrior Ask Me Anything (WAMA) event. He spoke about search engine optimization (SEO), analytics, content marketing, and social media marketing. Mike founded the successful boutique digital marketing studio, iPullRank and does consulting work with companies all over the world. He’s worked for SAP, American Express, HSBC, SanDisk, General Mills, FTD and has held numerous posts such as Marketing Director, Developer, and tactical SEO at multi-national agencies such as Publicis Modem and Razorfish.
He attests that in doing SEO, everything can work but the more important question to ask is: Will they work over a long period of time? He says that in order for us to establish good link building strategies, we must first identify an audience, reach out to them and then produce valuable content. Our content needs to stand out. It has to be interesting. He says we should strive to make something that no one has seen before.
Mike empowered us viewers today by stating that we can produce creative content as long as we are patient about it. Through tools like Pitchbox and Vsnap, we can do effective internet marketing and create amazing content to share with our target audience.
