I have been working as a freelance translator since 1984 while as a consultant since 1981. Many consulting projects where I involved were foreign funded. My work includes translating from English to Indonesian vice versa and editing/ proofreading. My clients include consulting firms, experts, ministries/government agencies, NGOs, private companies, and translation agencies. Many of my translation projects were very big ones. I attended adequate training courses and workshops/seminar that are really useful in my translation work. Among them are the Lead Consultants of ISO 9000, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Cooperatives. They are certified. In addition, I passed a Competence Examination for Translators in the University of Indonesia and certified. Twenty five years’ experience as a translator/editor/proofreader could be considered enough to provide this kind of service.
